An 8,500 sq ft specialist education and wellbeing centre, delivered in 12 weeks. Opened by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, and supported by Bolton Council.
Navigators NESTA Bolton is a specialist education and wellbeing centre designed to support young people who have become disengaged from mainstream education. The 8,500 sq ft facility provides a structured, safe environment — combining vocational training, physical wellbeing, and pastoral support under one roof.
Our team completed the full overhaul of the raw industrial space in just 12 weeks — delivering a gym, fitness suite, vocational training workshops, breakout and welfare rooms, a presentation theatre, and a bespoke illustrated map installation celebrating the communities Navigators serves across Greater Manchester.
This is the second Navigators site we have worked on together. The partnership reflects a shared conviction: that the quality of a space directly shapes the quality of the outcomes it produces. Every material choice, every layout decision, was made with the young people who would use it in mind.
From raw industrial shell to fully operational specialist education centre — on programme and to specification.
